The app uses ~250MB (with all Helper tools, ~140MB without)) even without anything saved. That's too much for a clipboard manager and the reason why I'm looking for another one.
RAM usage depends on the number of items you copy and how much memory each item allocates in memory. For example, if you try to preview 1000 items, 2MB each, then all of them will be loaded in RAM and allocate ~2000MB. But if you don't do this, then the RAM usage shouldn't be so high. I'm profiling the app to see if there are some memory leaks in it.
Hey Vladimir, I'm also seeing 15gb usage from Clipbook today. I'm having to always restart the app for a while now. Please let me know what kind of logs you need from me so you can debug this. I don't have that much data in the app. My favorites is almost empty. Version is: 1.34.0 (Apple Silicon)

The RAM and CPU usage has been significantly improved in ClipBook 2: https://clipbook.app/blog/clipbook-2.0.0/ Feel free to switch. It's free to upgrade.
