Mouse hover over elements

I don't know if it's a design choice or not but it feels really weird that hovering mouse over elements doesn't do anything? I would expect it to highlight entry just as arrows do - this would make Space key also more useful because I could scroll with mouse -> hover over and press Space to preview, right now it's a bit of a pain. Congrats on the 2.0 though :)
